Triactive medical lasers

The TriActive is the first FDA approved laser for the treatment of cellulite. The procedure done with the TriActive is three procedures in one.

  • Laser: The six diode lasers act to enhance the microcirculation near your skin’s surface, resulting in improved skin tone.
  • Massage: The deep mechanical massaging action applied to the tissue below your skin may result in a tighter appearance in the treated areas.
  • Cooling: On your body, localized cooling can aid in smoothing the appearance of cellulite. These benefits are enhanced when combined with a healthy diet and exercise.

Q: What causes cellulite?
A: Cellulite is fat trapped by a network of connective fibers. As fat deposits accumulate within the structure of this tissue, a dimpling effect is seen.

Q: How does laser treatment work?
A: Laser diodes penetrate skin tissue and together with the massaging action smoothes out the cellulite affected area and improves microcirculation. This in turn increases skin elasticity and promotes a tighter appearance.

Q: What parts of the body can be treated?
A: Triactive can be performed on cellulite prone areas like the thighs, buttocks, “love handles” and stomach. It can also refresh tissue and uncover softer, more radiant skin around the face, neck and upper arms.

Q: Is it painful?
A: To the contrary, this is a pleasant, non-surgical procedure which feel similar to a therapeutic massage. Most individuals report that it feels very comfortable.

Q: How many treatments are required?
A: Typically, 12 treatments are recommended twice per week for 6 weeks. Maintenance treatments are usually once every 4 to 6 weeks. Factors such as age, treatment area and overall fitness level should also be taken into account.

Q: How soon will I notice effects from the treatments?
A: Results are variable, but most patients comment that they can see a difference usually around 4 to 6 treatments. However, results vary due to several factors including: the areas being treated, if you have combined treatment with diet and exercise, and your age and general health.
